Jake the Peg:
Maybe you're losing penalty counts because you're transgressing more than the opposition? Just a thought
i think most fans would accept losing some penalty counts but every week, even when Wigan are dominant, it doesn't make sense. Why when a side is well on top and dominant would they concede penalties
NK has provided examples where for example Salford have averaged 9 penalties conceded every week, but against Wigan only conceded 3. Wigan were dominant in that game, so you would expect Salford to concede more, and certainly more than Wigan Similar with the league game v FC earlier in the season, Wigan dominated that game but were on the end of the penalty count
i know i would prefer winning games v penalty counts, but there is no doubt that it can have an influence on the result of a game, especially if every week penalty / set restarts are stacked up against a team. I think in the game v Leeds which we lost it was a stacked penalty count and 3 set restarts (note i'm not saying that is the reason we lost but could have been a contributing factor)
