There's been a few threads about nasty pieces of work recently, so I was wondering what the consensus of opinion on here would be for the dirtiest and/or meanest and/or nastiest team of players currently playing in SL. If there's enough responses I'll add them up. reading the boards, looks like for current obvious shoo-ins are McGoldrick and Hock, but maybe you know different? Post any from a single player up to a whole team, just nominate them for a position by number, 1-13.

11. Gareth Hock

David Howell of Harlequins might give the team a bit of bite!!

Oh, this should be fun. Did this once before, compared it to real stats and was pleasantly surprised at how accurate I actually was.

Full Back - Very few dirty full backs in the game... Only choices would be Ben Cockayne and Brent Webb. I'd go for Webb.

Wings - Very VERY difficult to pick. The only one who's actually guilty of a bad infringement that I can remember is Gareth Raynor, but that's a bit unfair because he's not really a dirty player.

Centres - Paul Sykes and Keith Senior.

Stand Off - Danny McGuire by a country mile, and that's saying a lot given the competition in this position... Leon Pryce & Lee Briers for example.

Scrum Half - Simply because McGoldrick was listed at Scrum Half for Saturday, I'm putting him here.

Props - Pretty easy this one... Any 2 out of Ryan Bailey, Keith Mason and Adrian Morley.

Second Row - Pretty easy this one... Gareth Hock and Jon Wilkin.

Loose Foward - Wow.. I'm really struggling here.

And before anyone points out I missed out Hookers... I retired the position in honour of SL's all-time dirtiest player, Keiron Cunningham.

OK, not really. I forgot.

Despite his talent for getting sent off for clumsy high tackles, I don’t think Morley is a particularly dirty player – for me Lima and Bailey are the genuine dirty cheap shot merchants in the front row
