I’ve just finished re-watching the Cats game. We were very, very good. Didn’t let Cats catch a breath all game. They were constantly under pressure.
Ball In hand we were also very poised. Clinical even, with our ball movement starting to look more fluid. This, with some debut youngsters and playing most of the game with only 16 and eventually 15 players available. So many players had huge games.
Thursday night, 5 day turn-around, 2 starting pack players out, 2 other pack 17 questionable, and McIntosh also doubtful. In years gone by I’d be worried, but the youth and quality of our squad is showing already, and the Lam/O’Brien combination looks better and better.
Tough game for the reason above but we win this one 10+
