Certainly affected the bounce a little bit but this is the best time for it to recover at least. Wasn't there work done on the pitch a few weeks ago when we had our run of away games?

That part of the pitch was covered from the Tuesday before the gig until I would think the following Monday or Tuesday. Also it has had the most stick from gear, machines and crew being traipsed over it. Good job it didn't rain is all I can say. We did make a few mistakes but I sort of like the way that we aren't afraid to throw the ball around, even if it is frustrating to watch. I think Paul should do sets of 10mins in the game with just twelve men on the field. We were fantastic when Liam went off. My highlight of the game was Liam Kay charging through from our line ball in hand and bouncing one of their forwards 5 yards backwards. I know that if if's and buts were worth tenners and fivers we would be millionaires, but if all the drops had come off we would have hit 50 again today. It will happen one day and I hope it's in the grand final or when we really need it to happen.

Well for what it's worth I would prefer Ryan started playing off the cuff again because he is far too exciting a player to pass the ball early.

Since he has started playing that way we have been making more errors across the park.

I must admit Lynda the Pitch wasn't in good shape at the North Stand end , im available for Advice on all things Green in the Garden , my Strawberries and Tomatoes are coming on a treat , im really chuffed with them , as ive ever grown a Moustache in the past .

Well we have probably the best ground staff in the country so I have every confidence it will be like a bowling green again very soon. Maybe we could get the bloke who got Elton's hair to grown to help.

I totally agree Frank and said as much on Sunday. He's definitely changed his style of play and doesn't seem to be running with the ball or taking the chances he used to which is a shame. I hope to see him get back to his old self sooner rather than later.
