First season - good progress made both finals, 2nd season CC win, but it was blowing out of the playoffs at home 3 times in a row 2019/20/21 to Castleford, Hull and Hull KR which probably left an air of disappointment. People forget this. 

Expectations were higher then I think. Seems to me a run to the final in the Challenge Cup is good enough for most now. 

Sums it up perfectly. Impossible to argue against. 

We had some hammerings under Price. 


38-10 vs Wigan (away)
36-12 vs Salford (home)
38-12 vs Saints (away)
36-0 vs Leeds (away)
30-10 vs Catalans (away)
30-12 vs Saints (home)
35-20 vs Castleford (CC semi at Leigh)


And we crumbled 3 times in a row in the playoffs at home to lesser opposition. 


We are struggling now but Price was a pretty mediocre coach too and we were the last club he ever coached which says a lot. 

All the armchair experts bagging on Price when he was the last coach at Warrington to actually win anything. Six years ago. Astonishing. This forum never changes. 

For some reason, people didn't like him, his record was impressive compared to what followed him. Failure to get through playoff games is not all his fault, the players should take their fair share of the blame.

I wouldn't mind watching Price's so-called dross rather than the rubbish we are being served right now.

No one is professing to be an expert, just possessing a memory and a cursory glance at results.
