He`s not doing well with injuries these last couple of years.
Nevertheless a very good prospect that I hope we have a deal in place to take him back should he return from the NRL.
He didn't sign a deal that would have kept him here, why would he have signed up to one that commits him to returning?
IIRC a few players have done the same and had it put into their contracts .The fact he didn`t sign was that he had a much better financial offer to play in the NRL.
Not all players hack it over there and do get released with some preferring to come back to SL.
Should that be the case with Gannon it would be nice to have first refusal.
Looks like Hull are making a determined bid to sign Lisone. Irrespective of differing opinions on his ability it would be galling to lose him to another SL club given that club have indicated that they want him to stay, and he has recently stated that there's no other UK club he'd rather play for. Guess time will tell but I do find the way Hull are taking about signing him (both players and coaching staff) a bit disrespectful. No wonder they wound up LeighDegsy so much last year.
Just seen some of this. Pretty cheap, playground level stuff tbh.
However, Blease has said his playing staff attention is now on 2027. Taken at face value, this would suggest next year is already done and dusted. Let's see.
